Ciao a tutti e buone vacanze

Ciao ciao Estonia...

Four months have already gone as if I didn't realize about that. Many things have happened in this adventure but it was important to highlight the most important or the most shocking, according to the own point of view. Now Tallinn for a while is no longer International because all those with whom I started this experience they are going back home.Somebody happy, someone disappointed, another one crying because he knows that he will never live this experience againso. It will be less international but in a few weeks hear hordes of Italian, British, Scandinavians people pass through these streets of Tallinn to spend a few days of vacation, in search of the typical finnish girl of Estonia or looking for something else.but we would need to set up another time blog.Perhaps I would have more time, I'd post many more articles in summer because I would not have 10 university courses to attend as I had in this semester that would take me committed, but I let those who will spend summer in this small great country doing it... I learned many things, some of these served or not is another issue.I will return at home with a smile, because I will hold this experience in my heart, unforgettable because I can't forget it.A personal thank to BFM that made me feel like at home with his way of thinking, with the open-mindedness of all those working inside it, from secretaries to teachers, form technicians to students.A particular greeting goes to the person who is reading this right now:Scott Abel. Thanks a lot guys, a hug ...by Peter

Remake of "Three's a crowd"

30 May 2008: one of the best days of my academic and social life. The first time that the school really made me understand how the interpersonal relationships between students and professors are more important to get a good mark or to take notes constantly. And I can say that was my last lesson of my school life.better late than never ... We were in the old BFM studios to film this funny sitcom fun with good actors with a excellent crew.Mhh ... honestly almost excellent. We are not yet ready for Hollywood.Watching the production manager working more as a secretary and executive producer as a woman going shoppingwas something amazing.Eh what about me? I have worked in pre-production process, I was the casting director but the director didn't choose any of my actors that I brought (what a casting director, well what a director!) I was forced to be as a sound assistant .Well, it's not for a me.I am a creative, who thinks a lot , in short an artist. But it's better to talk about that on my myspace if you want to: www.myspace.com / peterstars.I thank all those who participated actively and even those who did not participate at all and passively because however they have contributed to fill the set...

unprofessional journalism

1.On 4 April 2008 in the morning the journalist of TV3 called me on my phone saying that she was coming to my place to know something about the case.
She didn't tell me she would have made a video interview, infact I was just available for an audio interview cause being a victim it would have been dangerous showing my face on prime time TV news.
I just agreed for a nameless and faceless report. The international office coordinator of Tallinna Ulikool can prove it.

2.When I met the journalist in the late morning, you can see from the video,i was talking to her in Italian, without knowing that a cameraman was shooting the dialogue. You can also see from the video a weird movement of the girl who turned her head to the cameraman saying something after our dialogue.
They didn't ask me the permission to film me!

3.While she was interviewing me in front of Tallinna Ulikool, you can see that I had sunglasses on my eyes trying to hide myself but the cameraman was still filming me without my agreement and you can also see in one shot that the journalist turned down the microphone because I forbade her to use the microphone in front of my mouth.

4.At the seminar for the safety of the international students we were almost fifty students but the same cameraman while I was listening to the policewoman, instead of filming just the whole audience,he made a close-up on my face without having my permission and I didn't wear my sunglasses so my eyes were clearly uncovered and visible. In addiction to that I was watching to the opposite side of the camera so I couldn't see the cameraman.

5.The TV network,TV3,told me that there's a verbal agreement in the press code of ethics instead of a written realising but this verbal agreement doesn't exist and I've never given my permission to film me.
So,tell me guys, what you think about this issue

terrible March

Many things happened in this cold March.
Some students have been attacked by two drunk russians in front of Tallinna Ulikool at 4am.
Police should control all the areas and not only downtown. One of these students were hit on his head generating blood, yes blood.
Another student got a broken leg because the doormen hit him supporting the guy who was teasing the student in the smoking area at Club Hollywood.Doormen hitting a client? Is it a joke?NO!
We all hope that this kind of stuff will never happen again cause we all came here in peace and we would like going back to our countries in peace.
But on 27th March the second erasmus meeting took place at the Irish Pub.I wasn't there but u just can image what might happen.April has come with a sunny sunny sky leaving behind a snowy and violent March...

welcome to Tallinn

It's almost one month and half since I came here in this cold city and i would to tell you a lot of things but I will trie to resume as much as possible.Remember guys, the first month is not easy.Maybe you won't find the classes, the lectures and many things are written in the mother-tounge,so don't expect to see everything in English.Oh come on we are in Estonia not in Britain!Probably you will face some russian words.Yeah, but let's talk about russian minority another time...There are tow kinds of international students:the first one is on holiday everyday, doesn't go to lectures(even doesn't know where is the university) and gets drunk everynight.the second one is more diligent, accurate but not so much...I think to be in the middle but obviously who cares...it's Erasmus baby...This was just an introduction about what we are going to talk in this unique blogMany of you are likely wondering how life is in Estonia and others think:what are you f***doing in an unknown country like this. That's why I'm here,to make it known
